Elodea’s first solution is to support hospitals in expressing needs and improving processes using industry methodologies, including agile management, lean tools and nudging.

The deployment of such organizational and informational tools helps to identify inefficiencies in the logistics circuit and to provide simple support for the decision-making and coordination processes of hospital staff.

The pre-study of logistics flows also makes it possible to estimate the mapping of flows, the management of pharmacy stocks, the respect of the cold chain, the analysis of the economic and ecological impact of the solutions currently in place.

The second phase of Elodea’s intervention involves the deployment of experimental technological solutions to integrate the improvement of logistics processes with an empowerment of the delivery of sensitive medical products.

The implementation of a mobile SaaS software allows to quantify, model and trace flows through functionalities and a database common to all hospital staff, and prior to the implementation of specialized and automated solutions.

A POC demonstrator of a logistics integration solution for intra- and inter-hospital transport is tested over a limited period of time, using a refrigerated and connected box, as well as rolling and flying UAVs with autonomous navigation.

The empowerment of logistics flows is the final outcome of the continuous improvement initiated in the engineering phase and will finally allow management and nursing staff to delegate all logistics to concentrate more time on patients.
